Researcher’s Day 2023

The Phospholipid Research Center Heidelberg cordially invites you to our Researcher's Day 2023!

The Researcher’s Day will take place as face-to-face meeting (with hybrid option) in Bad Dürkheim/Palatinate, Germany from July 03 to July 05, 2023. The participants of this meeting are all PRC-funded researchers and partners working mainly on the project, the members of the Scientific Advisory Council and the Management Team of the Phospholipid Research Center, and two prominent guests.

The main purpose of the Researcher’s Day is to bring the researchers together and discuss about their projects. To do so, you will get the opportunity to present your project in either a short talk or on a poster, or both.

The Researcher’s Day will start on July 03, 2023 in the evening with a Come Together, a small snack, and the first plenary lecture. The entire 4th of July will then be dedicated to science, the second plenary lecture, your short talks and poster presentations, and plenty of time for joint discussions. We will end this day with a dinner. The return trip is scheduled for July 05, 2023.

Schedule

July 03–05, 2023

The Researcher’s Day will be organized as a hybrid meeting. You can also participate online, although we would of course very much welcome you to attend the meeting in person. Information on online participation will follow.

Monday, July 03

Arrival and at about 6:00 p.m. Registration and Come Together. Invited Lecture.

Tuesday, July 04

Start of the Researcher's Day at 8:30 a.m. and Dinner at about 7:00 p.m.

Presentations

Each PRC-funded project will be given the opportunity to present research—in either a short talk or on a poster, or both.

Depending on the number of short talks requested, we reserve the right to convert a short talk into a poster presentation. You will be informed about this decision. Unfortunately, a poster presentation is only possible on site.

The PRC covers all costs for accommodation. However, we must draw your attention to the fact that we can guarantee a free cancellation of participation only until April 30, 2023. For later cancellations (force majeure excluded of course) we unfortunately must charge a cancellation fee of 100.- €.

Travel

  • By car: Autobahn A61 Exit: “Kreuz Ludwigshafen”, in Bad DĂĽrkheim follow the B37 to the sign “Kurhaus/casino”.
  • By train: via Mannheim main station (ICE connection), change for the Rhein-Haardt-Bahn or via Neustadt Hauptbahnhof, and then take the local train.
  • By plane via Frankfurt/Main airport (FRA).
